About us
The Conversation Economy™ is operated by Roxann Liscombe, providing events, workshops, and programmes designed to help women build confidence, connection, and income opportunities through conversation.
Use of this website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn't infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of, this site by anyone else.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including but not limited to the names Conversations to Cash™, Money Legacy Moves™, and The Conversation Economy™, along with all text, graphics, and branding — is the property of Roxann Liscombe and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

Payment Terms & Conditions

These Payment Terms apply to all events, programmes, and services booked or purchased through The Conversation Economy™, including Money Legacy Moves™, Conversations to Cash™, The Conversation Clinic, and speaking engagements.
How payments are processed
We use third-party payment providers to process all payments — no payment details are collected or stored directly on this website. Depending on what you're booking, payment may be taken via:

Eventbrite — for Money Legacy Moves™ ticket sales

SumUp — for Conversations to Cash™, The Conversation Clinic, and speaking engagement fees
By making a payment, you agree to the terms of the relevant third-party payment provider in addition to these terms.
Pricing
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and are correct at the time of publishing. Prices may change at any time, but you will always pay the price shown at the point of booking.
Some events are offered at introductory or "beta" pricing for a limited time; the standard price will apply to bookings made after the beta period ends.
Payment timing

Event tickets (Money Legacy Moves™, Conversations to Cash™) — payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place. Places are not held without payment.

Our higher tier programmes — payment terms will be confirmed individually once you've been accepted following the application process.

Speaking engagements — a payment link is sent by email once fee tier and event details have been confirmed between us. Payment is required to confirm the booking; details of any deposit or full-payment requirement will be set out in that email.
Confirmation
Once payment is received, you will receive confirmation via email or through the payment provider used (Eventbrite or SumUp). Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us if anything looks incorrect.
Failed or declined payments
If a payment fails or is declined, your booking will not be confirmed and your place will not be held. Please contact your bank or card provider, or reach out to us directly, if you experience payment issues.
Refunds and cancellations
Please see our separate [Refund & Cancellation Policy] for full details on cancelling a booking or requesting a refund.
Currency and international payments
All payments are processed in GBP (£). If you're paying from outside the UK, your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion fees — these are outside our control.
Disputes
If you believe there has been an error with a payment, please contact us in the first instance before raising a dispute with your bank or payment provider, so we can try to resolve it directly.

Refunds & Cancellations

This policy has two parts. Please read the section that applies to what you've booked — the terms are different depending on whether you've booked a single event/building session or a higher-tier programme.
PART 1 — Live Experiences (Money Legacy Moves™ & Conversations to Cash™)
No refunds - All event bookings are non-refundable. Once payment is made, your booking is confirmed and the cost cannot be reimbursed. This is because your payment goes directly toward securing the venue, catering, materials, and other costs required to deliver the event, and these costs are committed on your behalf as soon as you book.
Transferring your booking to a future date - If you're no longer able to attend, you can transfer your booking to a future date of the same event, free of charge, up to 48/72 hours before the event start time. To request a transfer, email us at connect@theconversationeconomy.co.uk with your name and the new date you'd like to attend.
Transfer requests made after this cutoff cannot be guaranteed, as final numbers for catering and materials will already have been confirmed with our venue and suppliers.
Giving your place to someone else - If you can't attend and don't want to transfer to a future date, you're welcome to give your place to someone else at no extra cost — anytime up until the event begins. Simply email us the new attendee's full name, email address, and phone number at connect@theconversationeconomy.co.uk so we can update our records ahead of the event.
Cancellations or changes by us
Occasionally we may need to reschedule, relocate, or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our control. If this happens, we will

Offer you a place at the rescheduled date, or a transfer to a future event if you're unable to attend the new date
PART 2 — Higher-Tier and any other multi-session or premium programme - we offer strict no refunds, no transfers, no exceptions policy.
Bookings for our higher-tier programmes are final once payment is made, whether paid in full or via a payment plan.
These programmes are:

Non-refundable — under any circumstances, including partial completion, change of mind, or non-attendance

Non-transferable — your place cannot be passed, sold, gifted, or reassigned to another person after purchase
This applies regardless of payment method (paid in full or via an agreed payment plan). If paying via a payment plan, all scheduled instalments remain due in full even if you stop attending or participating.
The one exception: Purchased as a gift - if a programme place was purchased as a gift for a specific named person, and we were told this clearly at the time of purchase, the named recipient may take up their place as intended. Outside of this specific circumstance, places cannot be reassigned once booked.
Why this policy exists
Our higher-tier programmes involve significant upfront investment in delivery, resources, and capacity that is committed the moment your place is confirmed. This policy protects the integrity and exclusivity of these programmes for everyone enrolled.
